Welcome to Central Scotland Sea School
Central Scotland Sea School is the Training Centre for the Central Scotland Royal Naval Auxiliary Service Association and was established in 1994 and registered as a charity in the same year. We provide Sail Training voyages for all sectors of the community throughout Scotland. Please use the Navigation Bar to visit your area of interest.
All our Sail Training Vessels are renowned for their safe & sturdy construction and excellent sea-keeping and sailing performance. In our 17 years of operation we have sailed over 100,000 miles and embarked over 3000 Scots from Stornoway to Dumfries.
We now have vessels based in Gocek, Turkey and Majorca for Skippered Family Holidays and Adventurous Sail Training with UK Professional Yachtmasters for Youth and School Groups.
Supported by Local Councils, Central Scotland Sea School is registered as an Approved Outdoor Education Provider, Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Expedition Award and is a Recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre for all Sail Cruising courses. During the sailing season there are several periods allocated to RYA practical courses and during the winter months we conduct RYA Theory courses throughout Central Scotland.
